Swimming & Diving: Cadet Men Third, Women 10th After Three Days of NEISDA Action

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Norwich University men's and women's swimming & diving teams competed in day three of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association Championships on Saturday.

Through 34 events the Cadet men are currently in third place out of 14 teams with 376 points while the Norwich women sit 10th out of 21 teams with 284 points.

Sophomore Sarah Carls (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) finished third in the women's 1-meter diving finals with a score of 347.15 while freshman Jack Brennan (Hopkinton, Mass.) claimed second in the men's 1-meter diving finals with 394.45.

Sophomore Megan Duffy (Shelton, Conn.) took second in the women's 400 yard IM finals in 4:46.26.

Freshman Nikky Ansley (Berlin, Germany) claimed second place in the women's 50 yard butterfly finals with a time of 26.93.

Junior Joseph Clark (Acworth, Ga.) placed fifth in the men's 200 yard freestyle finals in 1:44.41.

The team of senior Austen Greene (Herndon, Va.), senior Harrison Brock (Alexandria, Va.), sophomore Brian Parrott (Londonderry, N.H.) and senior Alex DiGiacomo (Norfolk, Mass.) finished second in the 200 yard freestyle relay finals in 1:29.66.

The Championships conclude on Sunday evening.
